Widow of late
Subedar was drawing less pension by Rs.3,417 as on 31/12/2012 (including DA).
On contacting her for more details to take up with the bankers,
we were told by the widow’s son today that the arrears which were credited to
her account on 11.12.2013(Rs.15, 658 towards Oct/Nov. DA Arrears
& Rs.59,678 towards pension arrears for the period 24/9/2012 to 30/11/2013),
were eventually reversed on 30.12.2013 and apparently, her last received pension was in September, 2013 which was Rs.6, 000/- !!!
This is indeed shocking and case has been strongly taken up with the Bankers and
escalated to the seniors in the Bank too.
